Wow is the only word that describes this super easy, super fast raw food recipe wonder!
Made in less than three minutes, for some quick afternoon nourishment, this is one of my Bicycle-Babe fast food experiments gone oh so right!
Infact this little super snack got an Instagram heart from none other than 2015 My Kitchen Rules stars Jane & Emma.
The sweet papaya is complimented perfectly by the sourness of the sauerkraut. The goat cheese adds a touch of salt,
Sunscreen is a must for living the bicycle life, but no one wants the toxic nasties that are found in the mass-market brands, not cool!
We tested out Scratch Mommy’s non-toxic organic hand-crafted SkinShade Lotion (SPF 20+) in the heat of the Australian summer – phew!

THE GOOD
1. Non-micronized – the main active ingredient in this sunscreen is zinc oxide. Other brands use zinc oxide that has been ground down to nano-sized particles (micronized).
Happy Rainy Days are a Dutch company started by two amazing women who “though there should be more happiness on rainy days” and so created a fashion line of rainware for all occasions. I tested out their rain cape for bicycle occasions!
THE GOOD
1. Fashion – there is nothing better than functional clothing that’s also a fashion piece. Happy Rainy Day’s capes capture the art of looking great while feeling good.
2. Collar – Happy Rainy Days have perfected the bicycle rain-cape collar.
Carradice are the ‘original british bicycle bag company’ and they sure make a lot of bags, but we wanted to test their rain poncho!
THE GOOD
1. Eco Friendly – waxed cotton is the original water-proof fabric so it’s eco-friendly at the end of its life cycle, cotton production is not always sustainable.
2. Extra Large – this cape is BIG, it covers everything at the front and back.
3. Waist Strap – the cape also has a waist tie that helps to keep the whole cape in place.

Duthch designer Nomonro make a dress clip for both summer breezes and winter winds.
We tested it out in Australia’s super hot summer, here’s how we went.
The Good:
1. Colour range – Nomonro clips come is all manner of designs and colours which means you can disguise it, or make it an eye-chatching addition to your outfit.
2. Non-slip – the clips are made from leather or fabric which means they don’t slip off silky dress fabrics,
You would never guess from her name, but paper-cut artist, Kathryn Carr, is a bicycle fan.
“Freedom is what comes to my mind when I think of a bicycle”, says Carr.
“It can be the first taste of independence and breaking free for a child…a bicycle can take us places in a way that does not require motors or outside forces”.
For Carr the bicycle has certainly been an artistic force and throughout her work she has put everything from elephants to rabbits astride the humble bicycle, creating dreamlike images that leave the imagination wanting more.
